10 points! Please help me!?

I met this guy this year in one of my classes. He started talking to me and we became friends. It's summer now and I can't go a day without thinking about him. We are going to different schools next year and i don't want to loose him. I don't have any of his contact info but I'm thinking about making a facebook to talk to him. Also, I am worried, though, that he has forgotten about me or moved on. Is this a good idea? Do you think he moved on? And other advice would be good cuz I am new to this stuff (i am 14) Please help!
