Question about selling puppies?

My friend gav me 3 puppies so I could keep or sell for myself. I put then on sale on craigslist and some guy emailed me tellin me I need a lisence to breed. But I don't breed this a one time thing. I dont even hav dogs. Do I need a lisence to sell 3 puppies? I live in Miami dade florida
