New song title??? HELP!! IMPORTANT!?

I was listening to a pop station erlier, and i heard a lil snippet of a song, all i remember is it was a male singing and something liike, "i know i know a girl like youd never go for me..or somthin..n there was a part wer he talked about his friends tellin him to stop or somethin..i cant remeber..ive seeeearched!!! it just perfectly describes my relationship how we ended up...please help!
