Help with baby boy's name please?!?

Since day one I've loved the name Lukas or Luka, but not until recently I've realized people would use the nickname Luke, which I don't like too much. For Luka does the name sound feminin because it ends in A? Or have you experienced people calling you a certain name, you correcting them and it stuck?? Any opinions would be great. Thanks
