My husband annoys me and I just don't like him...how do you change that?

I have been unhappily married for over 2 years but it has never been GREAT. I can't say there was even a good honeymoon phase involved with us. I just don't like my husband. I don't like his views on things or his personality. I basically married him because he had good qualities. And now that isn't really enough to keep this marriage together. Its been over 4 years and all I keep wondering is how I can go on forever with this guy. So I keep tellin myself that hey he is a good guy make yourself love him...is that possible? I am going to therapy to try to find out what the underlying cause is. He has physically abused me in the past but the last time was over a year ago and every time he has been drunk. I don't know if that has alot to do with it?? Any advice would be great.
