Should I wait or forget it.?

see there Is this amazing guy that i love to pieces... and says he loves me to.. but the thing is ... he is dating this girl... ... A while ago we were just gona start a relationship between us until he "found out" that he was dating this girl.... So I was upset ... but then he told me that he is trying his hardest to get her to brake up with him.... it has been a month now and they r still together and he is still tellin me he loves me and stuff... im just really confused and need advice ;(
