Worried about the damage from bleaching hair?

It depends on how dark your hair is currently. If it's a dark brown or black, it'll tear your hair up. Before you bleach your hair at ALL, you need to first make sure it's in the BEST shape possible, if you want it to look good afterwards. You could try taking a biotin supplement or eating foods rich with the vitamins your hair needs to shine and grow healthy such as fish, any kinds of seeds or nuts, and vegetables. Also, you need to be using a good conditioner, and after your bleaching sessions, you need to use a good DEEP conditioner to prevent the hair from drying out and breaking. Also, using a purple toner or blue toner will help the grayish/darkish/off colored blonde hairs become blonder that way you can have a true blue color once you dye it.
